New Kei Car "BYD RACCO" Scheduled for July Release

Background and Objectives of Business Transfer

Through the MGF (Mobility Guides Future) division of D&D Management Co., Ltd., the D&D Group has operated BYD dealerships in Okinawa Prefecture and Hokkaido, promoting decarbonization in the region.

By transferring and consolidating the BYD business to "D&D Import Japan Co., Ltd.," established on April 1, 2026, for handling imported cars, we aim to accelerate decision-making and enhance expertise, thereby further expanding our imported car business centered on EVs and strengthening our operational structure.

Stores in Operation and Future Area Strategy

From July 1, D&D Import Japan will operate the following three stores:

◎ BYD AUTO Okinawa (near Prefectural Office Showroom)

◎ BYD AUTO Sapporo Nishi

◎ BYD AUTO Sapporo

Based on these existing locations, we will proceed with further store openings in Okinawa Prefecture and Hokkaido (such as the Asahikawa area), strengthening our sales and service network closely integrated with the local communities. In the future, we aim for business growth not limited to the BYD brand, but also by considering the handling of other imported car brands to meet the diversifying needs of our customers.

The D&D Group will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through the widespread adoption of next-generation mobility.

Expectations for the New Kei Car EV "BYD RACCO" Scheduled for July Release

BYD Auto Japan Co., Ltd. plans to launch the new kei car EV "BYD RACCO" in July 2026. With the appearance of the first imported EV kei car that matches Japanese road conditions and market needs, it is expected that the hurdles for EV adoption for general consumers and business use will be further lowered. D&D Import Japan will prepare promotional activities and support systems at each store in line with the market launch of the "BYD RACCO," and will vigorously lead regional decarbonization efforts.
