DESCENTE JAPAN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Tsuyoshi Shimada) has concluded a partnership agreement with Hanamaki Higashi High School (Principal: Junzo Ojima), a private school operated by Hanamaki Gakuin in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture.

The partnership was established in response to shared values with the school’s educational philosophy of "Risshi – Realizing Dreams" and its commitment to sports development. Building upon a long-standing relationship in which the company’s uniforms have been worn by the school’s hardball baseball team, DESCENTE will now extend its support to other extracurricular sports activities.

By providing unified apparel—including uniforms, practice wear, and travel attire—featuring the school’s signature navy purple color, DESCENTE aims to strengthen school-wide cohesion and enhance the school’s brand identity. Apparel and bags will be supplied primarily under the 'Move Sports' brand, designed for diverse sports scenarios, along with specialized products from DESCENTE, 'Arena,' and 'Umbro,' tailored to the specific needs of each sport. Leveraging its portfolio of multiple sports brands and advanced functional technologies, the company will support student athletes across disciplines. For DESCENTE, this collaboration offers an opportunity to reinforce its positioning as a serious sports brand through association with a school renowned for producing elite athletes, while also incorporating feedback and needs from high school athletes into future product and feature development.

Key Features of the Apparel:

- Unique cutting design for enhanced shoulder and leg mobility

- High-performance fabrics with excellent sweat-wicking and stretch properties
