General Retailer Dinos Launches Its First Designed Truck Running Between Fukuoka and Tokyo

On May 18, 2026, Dinos Inc. (HQ: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President: Kosuke Kato) launched its first-ever designed truck service running between Fukuoka and Tokyo. With the cooperation of Matoba Transport Co., Ltd. (HQ: Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture; President: Toshio Matoba), which specializes in freight transport, the truck features designs for 'Dinos Furniture' and the new furniture/appliance rental service 'flect.'

Aiming to improve product and service awareness Dinos will mark its 55th anniversary in December 2026. In preparation, the company has started this truck operation to further raise awareness of its long-standing 'Dinos Furniture' line and 'flect,' a new furniture and appliance rental service available in 46 prefectures.

Background of the designed truck The 10-ton large designed truck operates two round trips per week between Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture—one of the major production areas for furniture and storage—and the Dinos Logistics Center Tokyo (Machida City, Tokyo), with the cooperation of Matoba Transport, which handles long-distance transport to the Kanto region. Dinos and Matoba Transport have been partners in joint distribution since October 2002. They consolidate products brought by multiple furniture manufacturers to Matoba Transport's Okawa hub. By collaborating, the manufacturer, logistics company, and Dinos aim to increase transport efficiency, shorten delivery lead times, and reduce environmental impact.

Attention to design The side of the truck features the brand message 'I found my favorites' along with the 'Dinos Furniture' brand. The other side showcases the 'flect' logo, and the rear displays both designs. 'flect' operates under the vision of 'making failed furniture selection zero.' The bird depicted next to the logo is inspired by the bowerbird, which builds nests decorated with flowers and twigs. Just as the bowerbird creates a nest to its own liking, the design expresses the wish that customers enjoy the freedom of choosing furniture and appliances through 'flect' and feel the comfort of using them.
