YUKEN KOGYO's hydraulic products demonstrate extremely high reliability and durability even in the harsh environments characteristic of steelmaking sites, such as high temperatures and dusty conditions. In processes like rolling, which require precise speed and torque control, their unique control technology significantly contributes to improving product yield and stabilizing quality.

Fully Automatic Contamination Separator "Maggie" (IEC CO., LTD.)

Utilizing proprietary patented magnetic separation technology, this fully automated system eliminates and collects iron powder and contaminants as small as 1 micron generated from metalworking processes without interrupting fluid flow.

Doctor Device (DOCTOR SEISAKUSHO CO., LTD.)

By using air tubes, the blade edge can be applied uniformly to the roll surface. Adjusting the supply air pressure with a pressure reducing valve allows for linear control of the doctor blade pressure, eliminating even minute contaminants on the surface of rolls for steel and paper manufacturing without fail, and suppressing the occurrence of product defects.

Furthermore, a wide range of blade thicknesses from 0.1 to 6.0 mm are available. As replacement is also easy, it greatly contributes to labor saving at work sites.

Liquid Filtration Device "Miracle Boy" (NIPPON FILTEC CO., LTD.)

This device simultaneously removes "contaminants," "moisture," and "oxidation products," which are factors in the deterioration of lubricating oil and hydraulic fluid, using proprietary adsorption filtration technology. It thoroughly removes even fine oxidation sludge (which causes changes in oil viscosity), a task difficult for conventional filters, thereby maintaining the oil at new oil levels or better. This dramatically reduces the frequency of oil changes and significantly contributes to greenhouse gas reduction through reduced waste oil discharge. It also employs an "offline system" that allows installation and element replacement while the equipment is in operation, managing oil cleanliness 24 hours a day without stopping the production line, thus contributing to increased factory productivity.
