About the Photo

This shot was taken when she challenged canoeing in the sea surrounded by the cityscape of Dubrovnik. In this photobook, Saya Kanagawa, affectionately known as 'Yan-chan,' aimed to capture a 'girlfriend-like' feel. Sporting a truly mischievous ('yancha') expression, the photo makes viewers feel as if they are enjoying the activity right alongside her.

Saya Kanagawa. Born on October 31, 2001. 24 years old. From Hokkaido. Blood type O. In August 2018, she passed the Sakamichi Joint Audition. In December of the same year, she debuted as a member of Nogizaka46's 4th generation. In 2020, she was selected as an exclusive model for the women's fashion magazine 'Ray.' In 2022, she performed the 'Fox Dance' at a game of her local baseball team, the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, which became a major topic. In addition to group activities, she is active in a wide range of fields including variety shows and radio appearances.
