Dropbox Launches Integration with Claude

(headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), the launch of integration with Claude, introducing the Dropbox Connector for Claude, the Dropbox plugin for Claude Cowork, and the Dropbox plugin for Claude Code. Additionally, Dropbox announced expanded integration with ChatGPT and new integration with Google's Gemini Spark. Dropbox Connector for Claude

The Dropbox Connector for Claude is available for individuals and teams, allowing users to search, preview, and share files stored in Dropbox and receive AI-generated responses from Claude based on their content. Content created in Claude can be saved directly to Dropbox, enabling seamless ongoing collaboration. With this connector, users eliminate the need to switch back and forth between Claude and Dropbox, integrating Claude smoothly into daily workflows.

Dropbox Plugin for Claude Cowork

The Dropbox plugin for Claude Cowork enables tasks such as categorizing client feedback, sending deliverables to external partners, and creating new assets based on content stored in Dropbox. By simply entering a prompt, users can automatically organize files and folders, generate secure sharing links, and create text-based files in specific formats such as CSV, Markdown, HTML, and JavaScript. Outputs generated by Claude Cowork can be saved directly to Dropbox, enabling rapid reuse in team collaboration.

Dropbox Plugin for Claude Code

The Dropbox plugin for Claude Code allows developers to use files, documents, and supplementary materials stored in Dropbox as context for generating, updating, and analyzing code and technical deliverables. This eliminates the need to switch between multiple tools to locate necessary files or manually share updates and outputs with team members. Whether organizing project folders with product specs, meeting notes, and assets, or creating decision logs from conversations and saving them in Markdown to Dropbox, all tasks can be completed within Claude Code without leaving the environment.

Smarter Workflows Through Integration with Multiple AI Tools

Dropbox has further strengthened its integration with OpenAI by adding support for ChatGPT Work and ChatGPT Codex. With integration into ChatGPT Work, ChatGPT, and ChatGPT Codex, Dropbox users can now organize files and folders, generate secure sharing links, create file-sharing requests, and execute multi-step workflows. These updates are available through the Dropbox plugin for ChatGPT.

Additionally, Dropbox has enabled integration with Gemini Spark, Google’s new AI agent. Users can now access and share files stored in Dropbox as part of their Gemini-powered workflows. Gemini Spark is currently available in the U.S. via web and mobile apps, with macOS app support rolling out in the coming weeks.
