Milanese leather brand Serapian, owned by Richemont Japan, is holding a pop-up store at Isetan Shinjuku Main Building 1F from June 3 to June 9, 2026. The event showcases a collaboration with British designer Bethan Laura Wood. Over the past year, Wood and Serapian have co-created new expressions of the brand's signature 'Mosaico' leather weaving. The featured 'Bokashi Collection' is inspired by the traditional Japanese woodblock printing technique 'bokashi,' depicting natural color gradations on nappa leather. The pop-up venue uses pastel-colored sponge materials of varying thicknesses and hardness to evoke a rocky landscape. Key featured items include the Mini Secret Bag (481,800 JPY), Ani Bag (589,600 JPY), and Secret Bag (589,600 JPY). On Saturday, June 6, designer Bethan Laura Wood will make an in-store appearance. This exhibition highlights the intersection of Italian craftsmanship and Japanese artistic concepts, highlighting the sunset and sunrise gradients on the 'Mosaico Bokashi Landscape' masterpiece crafted in Serapian's bespoke atelier.
