DYM Hosted 29th Salon de CEO Featuring Jetstar Japan Former President

DYM, a provider of web, HR, and global medical services, hosted the 29th Salon de CEO executive networking event on May 28, 2026. The guest speaker was Masaru Kataoka, former President and Representative Director of Jetstar Japan. As the leader of Japan's first low-cost carrier (LCC), Kataoka spoke about the challenges of establishing a new aviation service, negotiating strict regulations, and maintaining safety standards. He shared how the company navigated uncontrollable factors like exchange rates and oil prices. Kataoka detailed the journey of building a safe operational foundation from scratch and scaling the company into a giant business with 70 billion yen in annual sales. The invitation-only event provided interactive discussions for about 20 executives on overcoming barriers to entry and establishing operational systems. DYM operates diverse businesses including HR Tech, M&A, and sports, with 2,744 consolidated employees as of April 2025 and 32.46 billion yen in sales for its 22nd term.
