Dynam Japan Holdings Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 06889) has announced its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2026.
For the period, the Group recorded revenue of 123,186 million JPY (97.7% of the previous year). Operating profit stood at 9,154 million JPY (83.4% YoY), and profit for the year was 2,605 million JPY (64.8% YoY). This decline in earnings is attributed to the continuation of strategic margin reductions to enhance customer traffic in the pachinko business, alongside impairment losses related to the closure of six underperforming stores to pivot toward future growth.
In the industry, while player participation shows a slight increase and "Pachi-slot" machines (specifically smart models) remain popular, the pachinko machine segment continues to struggle. The Group opened two new locations—Dynam Shiga Hikone and Dynam Nagano Ueda—both featuring more slot machines than pachinko units to meet market demand. Additionally, slot machine capacity was expanded at 119 existing stores, adding 4,985 units year-on-year. The total store count at year-end was 423.
As part of its diversification strategy, the Group established Next Plays Co., Ltd. to enter the crane game market, repurposing closed hall locations for daily entertainment. The aircraft leasing business also expanded, adding two aircraft and one engine to the owned fleet (totaling 12 aircraft and one engine), and managing 19 aircraft and two engines in total. The company declared a final dividend of 2.50 JPY per share.
