Ecovacs Robotics, a comprehensive manufacturer developing and selling household robots globally, announced that its window cleaning robot 'WINBOT' series achieved No.1 in global sales volume for the window cleaning robot market in 2025, according to a survey by global market research firm IDC.

As a global leader in service robotics, Ecovacs launched the world's first window cleaning robot, the 'WINBOT 5 series,' in 2011 and has since driven the market's development. Guided by the philosophy 'Created for Ease,' the company continues to innovate for smarter, safer, and easier window cleaning.

In modern homes, cleaning large windows is a dangerous and burdensome task. Windows are constantly exposed to dust and outdoor pollutants. In high-rise residences, exterior window cleaning is particularly hazardous, and manual cleaning often results in physical strain and uneven wiping.

WINBOT solves these issues, allowing users to enjoy clear views effortlessly. Furthermore, in the Chinese market, it has ranked No.1 in sales for three consecutive years based on data from All View Cloud (AVC).

Ecovacs began developing window cleaning robots 15 years ago. Since the launch of the first WINBOT, the series has undergone seven generations of core technology upgrades. The unique 'Edge Cleaning Mode' cleans corners, while '3-Direction Nozzle Water Spray Technology' ensures thorough cleaning. The all-in-one OMNI station provides storage and charging, and the device is equipped with multi-layered safety features, including a safety rope that withstands up to 100kg of tensile strength and fall prevention technology.

In 2025, global annual sales surpassed 1 million units, with cumulative sales exceeding 2.6 million. The series offers a wide lineup from entry to premium models. Ecovacs operates in 180 countries and celebrates its 28th anniversary in March 2026.
