Antenor, a patisserie originating from Kobe, will offer a Children's Day exclusive cake, the "KABUTO Cake," for a limited period of three days, from May 3rd (Sunday) to May 5th (Tuesday/Holiday) in 2026. The cake is designed to resemble a samurai helmet ("kabuto") and features chocolate sponge, strawberries, strawberry confiture, chocolate cream, and berry decorations, topped with a chocolate kabuto ornament. It is priced at ¥3,186 (¥2,950 excluding tax) and has a diameter of approximately 12cm, suitable for 3 to 4 servings. Reservations are available at all Antenor locations. Antenor, established in 1978 in Kobe with the aim of creating Japan's best Western confectionery, is a brand managed by Edelweiss Co., Ltd. It operates 38 stores, mainly in department stores across Japan, offering freshly made cakes and specialty baked goods.
