Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura (Jidaimura Co., Ltd., Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture) has launched the "Samurai Project" to connect the Japanese Bushido spirit to the next generation and the world, in anticipation of its 40th anniversary on April 23, 2026.

As a symbolic initiative, the former "Cultural Video Hall" will be completely renovated and reborn as a new hall conveying the essence of martial arts, "shogun theatre - Hall of Bushido." In this facility, the "Samurai Emaki" series, which presents the techniques and culture cultivated by Japanese samurai families through powerful live performances, will be staged. As the first installment, "Ogasawara-ryu Kyubajutsu no Dan," supervised by the 850-year-old Ogasawara-ryu school of equestrian archery, will be unveiled.

Through performances that integrate "etiquette," "archery," and "equestrian archery," we will deliver an immersive experience that goes beyond mere performance, embodying the rationality of the battlefield and the samurai's mindset.
