Elecom Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President & COO: Koichi Iwami), as announced on March 16, 2026, in the "Notice Regarding Acquisition of Shares (Subsidiary) of TEJ Holdings (Tama Electric Industry Group)," has completed the acquisition of all shares of TEJ Holdings, the parent company of Tama Electric Industry Co., Ltd., from funds managed and operated by Japan Industrial Partners, Inc. Consequently, TEJ Holdings has become a subsidiary of Elecom.

Strengthening Quality Initiatives On May 26, 2026, Tama Electric Industry announced a "Voluntary Recall and Request for Safe Use of Mobile Batteries 'crevio Basic TLP125' and 'crevio Lite TLP143'."

This year marks our 40th anniversary. Since our inception, we have remained committed to product quality, maintaining rigorous quality control and continuous improvement. Although this voluntary recall was identified prior to the completion of this acquisition, we have received detailed explanations from Tama Electric. Following discussions, we have confirmed our policy to prioritize customer safety and peace of mind in line with the Elecom Group's standards.

Furthermore, beyond this recall, we will continue to prioritize customer safety in addressing any related defects discovered after this acquisition, in close cooperation with Tama Electric. Moving forward, the Elecom Group is dedicated to further strengthening its quality management systems and preventing recurrence.

Future Outlook The impact of this share acquisition and the voluntary recall on Elecom's consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2026 is currently recognized as minimal. Should any matters requiring disclosure arise in the future, we will promptly announce them.
