Elecom has adopted the 'Decarbo Score,' provided by Earth hacks, to quantify the CO2e reduction of its semi-solid mobile battery (DE-C86-10000, 10,000mAh, 8,480 yen incl. tax). By using recycled plastic for the case, CO2e emissions drop from 314g to 196g per unit across the full lifecycle, achieving a 118g (37%) reduction versus conventional plastic. This marks Elecom's first use of the Decarbo Score, an index that visualizes CO2e reduction rates for products compared to traditional materials. The battery is featured in Loft's Green Project 'SUSTAINABLE BEAUTY & LIFE 2026' initiative as a 'Decarbo Score SELECTION' item, available at Loft stores and online from May 30 to July 12, 2026. Elecom plans to display Decarbo Scores on product pages going forward. The semi-solid battery is offered in four colors: white, black, pink, and blue, via Elecom Direct Shop and Loft channels.
