Consolidating Video Output, High-Speed Data, and Charging into One: New Launch of Two Compact Docking Station Models

Elecom Co., Ltd. launched two models (three items) of cable-integrated docking stations in late May, combining video output, high-speed data transmission, and charging functions in a compact body.

These cable-integrated docking stations connect to computers via a USB Type-C(TM) plug. The lineup includes a 3-port model smaller than an IC card and a slim, palm-sized 4-port model. Both models feature up to 4K-compatible HDMI(R) video output, USB 5Gbps high-speed data transmission, and USB Power Delivery 100W charging, condensing necessary ports into a compact design.

The 3-port "DST-030BP series" is equipped with an HDMI port, a USB-A port for data transmission, and a USB Type-C port for both data transmission and laptop charging. The 4-port "DST-040BPSV" features an HDMI port, two USB-A ports for data transmission, and a USB Type-C port for laptop charging. Both models are easy to store in bags or pouches, making them convenient to carry.
