Liquid Provides Online Identity Verification Service 'LIQUID eKYC' for Local Government Premium Gift Voucher Application Sites

Liquid, part of the ELEMENTS Group, has partnered with EVENTIFY, a provider of electronic ticket management and sales systems, to offer its online identity verification service 'LIQUID eKYC' along with 'Appearance Passive Judgment Option' and 'Document Authenticity Judgment Option' for application sites issuing local government premium gift vouchers.

This integration allows users to verify their identities by capturing images of their photo ID and face during the voucher application process. Furthermore, the optional judgment features enable the detection of forged documents and prevent fraudulent use through active judgment, supporting rigorous identity verification.

EVENTIFY is currently supporting the reception process for local government premium gift vouchers scheduled to launch in April 2026. This partnership facilitates the digitalization of identity verification and robust security within the application workflow.

Specifically, the 'Appearance Passive Judgment Option' prevents bypass attempts by attackers using deepfakes, while the 'Document Authenticity Judgment Option' blocks fraudulent applications using images of documents projected on screens or printed on paper. LIQUID eKYC was selected due to its alignment with requirements for municipal authentication functions, high market share, and proven track record.

'LIQUID eKYC' is a service that completes identity verification online for contracts, account registration, and bank opening. Utilizing proprietary AI, biometric authentication, and OCR technologies, the ELEMENTS Group has processed a cumulative total of approximately 150 million identity verification requests.
