Notice of Representative Director Change. Tatsuya Tsubuki Appointed as New Representative Director of EMC GLOBAL.

General Incorporated Association EMC GLOBAL (Location: Musashino City, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tatsuya Tsubuki; hereinafter: EMC GLOBAL), which aims to foster human resources with global entrepreneurship from United Asia, announces that on March 3, 2026, Yoichi Ito will step down as Representative Director, and Tatsuya Tsubuki, a current director, will assume the role of Representative Director.

Background of Representative Director Change and Future Outlook

"EMC GLOBAL" began as the name of a global entrepreneur development project conducted by Musashino University's Entrepreneurship Program, the only faculty in Japan specializing in entrepreneurship, which was adopted by Tokyo Metropolitan Government's "FY2023 University-Launched Startup Creation Support Project." During the adoption period, achievements included planning multiple pitch tours to India, the Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia for the purpose of global human resource exchange. To continue these efforts after the project's conclusion at the end of March 2025, a general incorporated association was established to carry on the activities.

In September 2025, the organization was also adopted by the "TOKYO SUTEAM" startup support project promoted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and is now fully engaged in fostering global entrepreneurs.

The new representative, Tatsuya Tsubuki, originally hails from Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (now Panasonic Corporation) and has experience working in overseas sales in Indonesia. He also has extensive business experience and deep knowledge in the Asian region, having been involved in launching businesses in Hong Kong and establishing universities in Cambodia. He currently serves as the Head of Department at Musashino University's Entrepreneurship Program.

As his business career spans the generation that experienced "Japan's lost 30 years," he holds a strong desire for "Japanese youth to look more towards Asia and become individuals with global entrepreneurship." It was this aspiration that Yoichi Ito fully supported, leading to the creation of EMC GLOBAL's activities. EMC GLOBAL's vision of "fostering human resources with global entrepreneurship from United Asia" is an expression of this sentiment.

As EMC GLOBAL's activities gain momentum, the change in representative director has been made to further accelerate the project, with Tsubuki, who was the catalyst for its inception, now taking the helm as representative.

Under the new structure, EMC GLOBAL will further deepen collaborations with corporations and local governments, including exhibiting at "SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026" to be held in April 2026, and will vigorously lead the construction of a global startup ecosystem originating from Asia.
