Lawson United Cinemas Launches "Immersive Zero" Project for Next-Gen XR Cinema Experiences

Lawson United Cinemas, in partnership with STYLY, provider of the spatial layer platform "STYLY," has launched the next-generation theater project "Immersive Zero" to update the cinema-going experience. With 41 theaters nationwide, Lawson United Cinemas has previously provided immersive environments through large-format technologies such as IMAX and 4DX. "Immersive Zero" builds upon this by integrating the latest XR technology, transforming theaters into hubs where audiences can fully immerse themselves in the world of artists and intellectual properties (IP).

As the first step in this initiative, and with the cooperation of LDH JAPAN, the company will hold an exclusive free preview for "BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE" fan club members. This event will serve to validate the value of this next-generation theater experience and the operating model for the theaters.

"Immersive Zero" is a joint project between Lawson United Cinemas, STYLY, and KDDI. By combining communication and digital technologies, the project offers an immersive sense where fans can feel artists at "zero distance," realizing a next-generation entertainment experience.
