Program Details Announced for the 17th Eukarya Friendship Meeting

Eukarya Co., Ltd. will hold the 17th Eukarya Friendship Meeting on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the Toranomon Hills Forum.

Under the overall theme 'Healthcare at a Historical Turning Point,' the panel discussion starting at 15:00, titled 'How AI Changes Hospitals: The Current Status and Future Outlook from Leading Players,' will feature Tatsuki Araki, Executive Director of the CEO's Office for Next-Generation Healthcare Business at Fujitsu Limited, and Makoto Ono, Senior Account Manager of Enterprise Business Healthcare at NVIDIA Corporation. Issei Ogawa, Corporate Officer and General Manager of Healthcare at Eukarya, will serve as the moderator to discuss the forefront and future possibilities of AI application in medical settings.

Additionally, the titles for the keynote speeches, previously announced on April 20, have been finalized. From 11:10, Ryojun Shionuma, Chief Priest of Fukujusan Jigenji Temple, will speak on 'Treating People: The Immutable Power Supporting Evolving Medicine,' and from 13:30, Professor Masaomi Nangaku of the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine will speak on 'Innovation in Medicine through DX: What Technology Changes and What Doctors Must Protect.'

These sessions will explore the ideal form of healthcare and nursing required at this historical turning point from the perspectives of technology, medicine, and human spirit.
