Eurus Energy Holdings Corporation announced that its overseas group company, Eurus Energy Europe B.V., in partnership with the Italian renewable energy operator IVPC Group, is commencing full-scale repowering of the 'IVPC' wind farm in Campania, Italy. The project involves removing 140 wind turbines built between 1996 and 1999 and replacing them with 22 state-of-the-art turbines from GE Vernova. The total grid capacity will increase by approximately 1.6 times, from 84,000 kW to 134,200 kW, leading to increased power generation and reduced environmental impact. Upon completion, the site will be renamed 'Fortore Wind Farm,' with commercial operation scheduled for October 2027.
