Inauguration of Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi as Honorary President

We are pleased to announce that Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has assumed the role of honorary president of the International Horticultural Expo 2027.

The GREEN×EXPO Association (Japan Association for the International Horticultural Expo 2027, chaired by Yoshinobu Tsutsui, located in Naka Ward, Yokohama) requested Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi to serve as the honorary president of the International Horticultural Expo 2027 (GREEN×EXPO 2027). We received notification that she accepted this position as of May 22.

"We requested Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi to serve as the honorary president of the International Horticultural Expo 2027, and she has accepted as of May 22.

Prime Minister Takaichi's acceptance serves as great encouragement for all of us involved in this expo.

With her inauguration as honorary president, we are renewing our commitment to the preparations. With approximately 10 months remaining until the opening, we will strive to ensure the expo meets the expectations of the many people looking forward to it.
