Incidentally, this announcement was made during the appearance of media artist Ochi Yoichi and Miyagi Norikazu (Makinika) of Sustainable Pavilion 2025 on the main stage of 'WebX 2026'. It was also announced that the concept and technology of 'null²ⁿ (Null Null Nexus)' will be inherited by the landscape transformation sculpture 'null⁴ (Tetra Null)', which is scheduled to be unveiled at the Yokohama Green Expo (GREEN×EXPO 2027) opening in March 2027 (organized by the Japan Association of International Horticultural Expositions 2027).
Two New Projects: 'null²ⁿ (Null Null Nexus)' and 'null⁴ (Tetra Null)'
The worldview of 'digital nature (Digital Nature)' proposed by Ochi Yoichi will be developed at two locations: Yokohama Landmark Tower 'null²ⁿ (Null Null Nexus)' and Yokohama Green Expo 'null⁴ (Tetra Null)'. An ecosystem for urban exploration that involves the entire city of Yokohama will begin here.
First Phase: 'null²ⁿ (Null Null Nexus)' Scheduled to Open on October 14
-The world's largest LED theater is born at Yokohama Landmark Tower
'null²ⁿ (Null Null Nexus)' is a permanent museum theater produced by Ochi Yoichi, following the Osaka-Kansai Expo 'null²'.
The highlight of the facility is an LED theater where you can experience an infinite mirror world. While the LED theater at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 'null²' had one room, 'null²ⁿ (Null Null Nexus)' will have two theaters, inheriting and expanding the experience of 'null²', and will be reborn as a permanent facility at Yokohama Landmark Tower in 2026.
Through the dedicated smartphone app 'Mirrored Body®', you can have a digital doppelganger (digital avatar) in the digital world and connect real experiences with virtual space. The performance changes in real-time and organically according to the data of visitors, allowing you to interact with your doppelganger. Under the worldview of 'digital nature (Digital Nature)', you can enjoy a completely new immersive experience where the boundaries between technology and humans blend together in a space where you yourself become part of the art. (Duration: approximately 60 minutes)

-Future Prospects: Linkage with Yokohama Green Expo and 'Experience Ecosystem of Digital Nature'
The passion and data generated at this facility will be seamlessly inherited by 'null⁴ (Tetra Null)', which is scheduled to be unveiled at the Yokohama Green Expo (GREEN×EXPO 2027) opening in March 2027. Plans for the linkage between the two facilities will be announced in the future.
As the name 'Nexus (connection)' suggests, this facility will function as a permanent hub connecting Expo legacies and people. In the future, we plan to hold regular events and form communities based in Yokohama.
Furthermore, through the linkage with the app 'Mirrored Body®', we will develop an experience ecosystem that transcends urban and natural environments. Visitors who obtained their digital doppelganger (digital avatar) at the Osaka-Kansai Expo can once again encounter their doppelganger in this city of Yokohama.

*Note on 'null²'
'null²' is a signature pavilion produced by Ochi Yoichi at the Osaka-Kansai Expo (April 13, 2025 - October 13, 2025). Based on the fusion of the Buddhist philosophical concept of 'emptiness' and the computer science concept of 'null', it was composed as an experiential installation combining special mirror films, LEDs, and robotics. It embodied the worldview of 'digital nature' where the digital and the physical blend together through mirrors, and attracted approximately 600,000 visitors during the Expo period.
Main Awards and Achievements:
・ Casa BRUTUS 'Best Pavilion 20' 1st place
・ People's Architecture Award 2026 Grand Prize (13,750 general votes, the highest ever)
・ SNS Followers: Top among individual pavilions at the Expo
・ Crowdfunding 'Null Null's Move': Surpassed 100 million yen in 23 hours, ultimately raising approximately 281.5 million yen from 15,821 people
Second Phase: 'null⁴ (Tetra Null)' Yokohama Green Expo
'null⁴ (Tetra Null)' is a new project that continues the 'lineage of reflection' from the signature pavilion 'null²' at the Osaka-Kansai Expo in 2025 and expands it to the satoyama of the Yokohama Green Expo. The mirror architecture that attracted attention, null², will be reborn as a 'Life Sculpture Museum' that reflects flowers, sky, forests, and people, after becoming a permanent urban hub 'null²ⁿ (Null Null Nexus)' and in 2027.
Four mirror structures will rotate while reflecting the surrounding scenery, showing different expressions depending on the time of day and the season. The work is a garden, a sculpture, and an experience space of digital nature that updates the way the world is seen through reflection without touching the scenery. The theme is 'What is inherited is not the form, but karma (karma)'. Instead of simply moving the form of null², the project will be developed by inheriting the philosophy in which reflection, body, digital, and nature blend together, expanding from the city to the satoyama, and from architecture to life.
