Washinmura is a small glamping village with only 6 rooms located in the rural landscape of Futtsu, Chiba. In an area dotted with a traditional Japanese house built around 200 years ago, a rowhouse gate, tents, and Jyubako (mobile houses), we live together with 15 rescue cats, as well as goats, dogs, silky fowls, and other animals.

During the day, you can climb the slopes carrying a traditional woven basket on your back or explore the forest. An old-fashioned 'original experience' awaits, where you play using your whole body. At night, you can chat leisurely while watching the flames of a bonfire. It is a common sight at Washinmura to see a cat curled up and sleeping peacefully right beside you. We hope you can casually enjoy such a day in the countryside. ⚠️ Regarding Animal Treats

Under the guidance of a veterinarian and to manage the physical condition of the cats, we ask that you refrain from bringing in commercial treats, as it is difficult to monitor their contents.

If you would like to give them treats, please purchase the treats sold at the Washinmura shop. *They are sold in limited quantities. We carefully select treats that are additive-free and made from domestic ingredients. Thank you for your cooperation.

*Cats live freely on the premises. Please be careful if you have allergies. *Since animals are whimsical, we do not know which room they will visit, and they are not guaranteed to come. *The cats and dogs at Washinmura have been spayed/neutered and given vaccines and tick prevention medication.
