Located in the countryside of Futtsu, Chiba, 'Washinmura' is a small glamping village with only 6 rooms. The site, dotted with an approximately 200-year-old traditional house, a Nagayamon gate, tents, and Jyubako (mobile houses), is home to 15 rescue cats, goats, dogs, silky fowls, and other animals. During the day, guests can carry a backpack basket to climb slopes or explore the forest. A traditional 'original experience' of playing with your whole body awaits. At night, enjoy relaxing conversations while watching the flames of a bonfire. A cat naturally curling up and sleeping beside you is a common sight at Washinmura. We would be delighted if you could casually enjoy such a day in the countryside. For detailed facility introductions, room types, rates, and availability, please visit the official website from the link in our profile.
⚠️ Regarding Animal Treats
Under the guidance of veterinarians, and to manage the physical condition of the cats, we ask that you refrain from bringing in store-bought treats as it is difficult to manage their contents.
If you wish to give them treats, please purchase the treats sold at the Washinmura shop. * Sold in limited quantities.
We carefully select treats that are additive-free and made from domestic ingredients. Thank you for your cooperation.
* Cats roam freely on the premises. Please be careful if you have allergies. * Animals are whimsical, so we do not know which room they will visit, and there is no guarantee they will come. * The cats and dogs at Washinmura are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and given tick prevention medication.
