"Washinmura" is a small glamping village with only 6 rooms, located in the satoyama (woodland near a village) of Futtsu, Chiba. On the grounds, which are dotted with a roughly 200-year-old traditional folk house, a nagayamon (rowhouse gate), tents, and Juyubako (mobile houses), we live together with 15 rescue cats, goats, dogs, Silkie chickens, and other animals.

During the day, you can carry a woven basket on your back and climb the slopes or explore the forest. A traditional "original experience" awaits, where you play using your whole body. At night, you can chat leisurely while watching the flames of a bonfire. It is a common sight at Washinmura to find a cat curled up and sleeping right beside you. We hope you can easily enjoy such a day in the satoyama.

Regarding Animal Treats

Under the guidance of a veterinarian, to manage the physical condition of the cats, we ask that you refrain from bringing in commercial treats, as it is difficult to control their contents.

If you wish to give them treats, please purchase the treats sold at the Washinmura shop. *They are sold in limited quantities.

We have carefully selected them, ensuring they are additive-free and made with domestic ingredients. Thank you for your cooperation.
