Experience Living with Rescue Cats and Animals at 'Washinmura', a 6-Room Glamping Village in Futtsu, Chiba

'Washinmura' is a small glamping village with only 6 rooms, located in the mountains of Futtsu, Chiba. On the grounds dotted with a traditional folk house built around 200 years ago, a gatehouse, tents, and Jyubako (mobile houses), you can live together with 15 rescue cats and other animals such as goats, dogs, and Silkie chickens.

During the day, you can carry a woven basket on your back, climb the slopes, or explore the forest. An old-fashioned "original experience" awaits, where you play using your whole body. At night, you can chat slowly while watching the flames of the campfire. It is a common sight at Washinmura to see a cat curled up and sleeping right next to you. Under the guidance of a veterinarian, and for the health management of the cats, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing in commercially available treats, as it is difficult to manage their ingredients.

If you wish to give them treats, please purchase the treats sold at the Washinmura store. *Sold in limited quantities.

We carefully select treats that are additive-free and made from domestic ingredients.
