Washinmura is hosting the "Kotatsu Mikan Festival," where guests can experience a traditional Japanese winter tradition until the end of February. Kotatsu (heated tables) are provided in all guest rooms, and sweet, richly flavored mandarin oranges from the Minamiboso region are offered as a complimentary service.

Protected cats live freely on the premises and may occasionally visit the guest rooms on a whim. As the animals are capricious, their visits to specific rooms are not guaranteed.

Regarding animal treats, under the guidance of veterinarians and to manage the health of the cats, bringing in commercially available treats is prohibited. Guests who wish to feed the animals may purchase additive-free treats made with domestic ingredients, which are sold in limited quantities at the Washinmura shop.

The cats and dogs at Washinmura undergo proper health management, including spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and tick prevention treatments. Guests with allergies should take precaution.

The facility is an old folk house glamping site located in a rural area of Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture, a 90-minute drive from central Tokyo, where guests can interact with animals and nature.
