Washinmura: Announcement on Animal Health Management and Treat Policy at the Facility

Various animals, including cats, dogs, goats, and silkies, live at Washinmura.

We regularly implement flea and tick countermeasures, vaccinations, heartworm prevention, spaying/neutering procedures, and periodic health examinations. Furthermore, our specialized animal staff conducts daily health checks, so you can visit with peace of mind.

Regarding animal treats

Under the guidance of veterinarians and for the physical health management of the cats, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing in commercially available treats, as it is difficult to manage their content.

If you wish to give them treats, please purchase the ones sold at the Washinmura shop. * Available in limited quantities.

We have strictly selected additive-free treats made with domestic ingredients.

Please note that cats roam freely on the premises, so those with allergies should be careful. Additionally, because the animals are whimsical, we do not know which room they will visit, and there is no guarantee they will come. The cats and dogs at Washinmura have been spayed/neutered and receive vaccinations and tick prevention medicine.

Washinmura is a glamping facility in Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture, located 90 minutes from central Tokyo, where you can interact with animals and nature in the Boso satoyama (woodlands).
