FastLabel Selected for METI/NEDO GENIAC Project to Digitize Manufacturing Tacit Knowledge

FastLabel Inc. has been selected for the 'GENIAC' project by METI and NEDO to research the digitization of tacit knowledge held by skilled manufacturing workers. In collaboration with a major Japanese automotive OEM, FastLabel will develop technology to convert subjective judgments and fine adjustments into high-quality structured data using Vision-Language Models (VLM). This initiative aims to preserve critical skills threatened by an aging workforce and labor shortages. The developed methodologies will support the growth of Physical AI and robotics in Japan by providing a robust data pipeline for AI scaling laws.
