Announcement of New Representative: Entering the Next Stage on Our 20th Anniversary

Greetings from the New Representative

We sincerely thank you for your continued understanding and support of Fathering Japan's activities.

This year, our organization marks a milestone of 20 years since its establishment. The past 20 years, driven by the desire to 'increase the number of laughing fathers,' have been years supported by many people. We express our deepest gratitude once again.

At this milestone, we are moving to a new structure for the next 20 years. We are pleased to announce that Tetsuya Ando, who has served as our representative, has stepped down, and Hirohisa Ikeda has been appointed as the new representative.

Tetsuya Ando founded Fathering Japan in 2006, starting activities with colleagues under the motto 'Let's increase laughing fathers.' While taking on challenges with passionate fathers, he expanded collaboration with the government, companies, and local communities, building the foundation for father support. Going forward, he will continue to watch over the activities as a Founder.

The new representative, Hirohisa Ikeda, while cherishing the journey so far, will advance challenges for the next 20 years under a new vision that emphasizes well-being and family relationships: 'A society where laughing fathers overflow and everyone wants to support them.' Details of the new vision are posted on the website, so please take a look. We will continue to deepen collaboration with local communities, governments, and companies, and work to increase the number of laughing fathers.

Notice of Website Renewal

Fathering Japan has renewed its website. It is now easier for dads and moms raising children, companies, local governments, and those who wish to participate in FJ's activities to find the necessary information according to their respective positions.

In commemoration of our 20th anniversary, we have also published a 'History' page summarizing FJ's journey and a 'New Vision' page.

Please feel the past and future of FJ, which has continued to challenge itself to change society while having fun with colleagues and families under the motto 'Let's increase laughing fathers!' and our aspirations for the society we aim for, on our new website.
