Jumbo Ferry Co., Ltd. (HQ: Chuo-ku, Kobe; CEO: Masayoshi Yamagami), operator of the ferry service between Kobe, Shodoshima, and Takamatsu, has installed a 'Nui-dori' photo spot aboard its vessel 'Aoi,' where passengers can enjoy taking pictures with their favorite plushies or mascots.
'Nui-dori' is a popular hobby, especially on social media, where people take photos of their plushies or mascots alongside the scenery during their travels or daily life. It has gained popularity as a personalized way to document travel memories.
The new photo spot allows passengers to take pictures with their plushies against the background of the Seto Inland Sea, viewed from the vessel's windows. The spot is located at the port-side window of the 2nd-floor lobby on the 'Aoi.' We invite you to enjoy the unique maritime scenery and the relaxing time on the ferry with your favorite plushie.
The photo spot is equipped with various props for your use: - Miniature benches for plushies - Miniature chairs for plushies - 'Nui-dori sticks' for handheld shooting - Stands for plushies to stand upright These are all free to use. We encourage you to post the photos you take on social media.
At Jumbo Ferry, we will continue to implement initiatives that enhance time spent onboard and create lasting memories, ensuring that the travel time itself becomes part of the fun.
