The purpose of installing this station is to expand transportation options originating from the port, which is located slightly away from the center of Takamatsu City, and to complement secondary transportation after ferry use. As a result, customers arriving in Takamatsu by ferry can smoothly transfer to a car after disembarking and conveniently move to city sightseeing spots or for shopping.
