This initiative aims to provide more customers with easier access to heat relief measures, driven by the increasing severity of heatwaves in recent years and the corresponding rise in demand for heat countermeasures. As part of this effort, we are expanding sales through dedicated vending machines and beverage vending machines, while also strengthening sales to corporations, particularly in industries with high heat risks such as construction, manufacturing, and logistics.

In collaboration with SD Creation Co., Ltd., a company that creates new value in various "gaps" under the philosophy of "Making the world interesting through various gaps," we have installed dedicated vending machines for Ice Towels at Hands Shibuya, Hands Shinjuku, Hands Kyoto, Hands Okayama, and Hands Hakata stores, as well as at the outdoor theme park Nasu Kogen Rindo Lake Family Farm.

By utilizing vending machines, we offer customers convenient purchase opportunities precisely when they need them, supporting comfortable summer outings and leisure activities.

Sales Also Begin at Select Beverage Vending Machines

Starting July 2026, in partnership with SD Creation, we have commenced experimental sales at the company's beverage vending machines. These machines are deployed in approximately 300 locations, primarily in the Tokyo and Kanagawa areas, creating an environment where Ice Towels can be purchased as conveniently as beverages.

By leveraging the widespread infrastructure of beverage vending machines, we are realizing a new purchasing experience where customers can "purchase and use on the spot when they feel hot" along their daily routes, such as during commutes, at outdoor event venues, parks, and tourist destinations.

Corporate Sales Also Underway

With the increasing social demand for ensuring the safety of workers, including the mandatory implementation of measures to prevent heatstroke in workplaces from June 2025, Seabreeze is promoting heat relief solutions utilizing Ice Towels, focusing on workplaces with high heat risks such as construction, manufacturing, and logistics.

Ice Towels are individually packaged products that provide a sustained cooling sensation simply by being worn around the neck, making them easy to use before/after work or during breaks. They can support employee heat relief and the creation of a comfortable working environment. We have received feedback from customers such as "easy to use" and "helps refresh during breaks," and they are being utilized as one of the options for heat relief products.
