Caravan joins the project this year, bringing together outdoor manufacturers with different areas of expertise to address trail conservation in a shared field setting. On day one, participants will learn about trail issues on site and take part in hands-on conservation work, followed by a layering seminar led by finetrack staff in the evening. On day two, the group will visit the source of Dake Onsen from the area near the currently rebuilding Kurogane Hut, trek through volcanic terrain toward Mount Tetsu and Mount Adatara, and receive field instruction from Caravan staff on how to use LEKI trekking poles.
