FIVOR Inc. (Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture; President: Daisuke Fujiki) will open 'FIVOR KURASHIKI Lab.' on April 9, 2026, in Kurashiki City, a facility dedicated to observing the circular cultivation system known as 'aquaponics.'

This facility will showcase an operational aquaponics system, which combines fish farming and vegetable cultivation. Companies and individuals considering the introduction of such systems can observe the equipment structure and operational methods. The facility is designed to help visitors understand the mechanics of water circulation and gain a concrete image of how to operate the system.

Why Aquaponics Now? Toward a Future Balancing Environment and Food Amidst global warming and a shortage of labor in agriculture and fisheries, 'aquaponics'—a fusion of land-based fish farming and hydroponics—is gaining attention.
