Letra Launches New 'one and only store' Project with PUR Director Izumi Collaboration

Letra, a global lifestyle goods brand operated by Sora of Tokyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Ohira), has announced the start of a new project, 'one and only store.'

'one and only store' is a project where items that fit the 'current mood' are selected through the filters of people active in various industries. The items featured in this irregularly held store are unique to someone, truly one-of-a-kind.

Influencers and creators have visited the Letra warehouse to curate a selection of Mercado bags that resonate with their own personal style.

For the first installment, PUR director Izumi has curated the collection. PUR is a women's apparel brand founded in 2012 with the philosophy: 'THE CLOTHES RESONATE STORIES OF PEOPLE.' They specialize in repairing and remaking clothes and fabrics to give them a new identity.

Although India/Nepal (where PUR sources its textiles) and Mexico (where Letra sources its bags) are geographically distant, they share a core brand philosophy: 'Protecting the beauty that can only be created by human hands.' In an era that prioritizes efficiency and mass production, they are committed to a business model that supports local cultures and the livelihoods of artisans.

Regarding the selection, Izumi noted: 'I chose items while imagining the background of the creators, thinking, "This color scheme goes well with a PUR blouse," or "This woven pattern looks great in nature."'

This limited-time lineup offers a mix of sophisticated PUR wear and modern, geometric Letra Mercado bags, suitable for both everyday life and special occasions.
