Sora of Tokyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yoshiro Ohira) announces the launch of its new 'Fruit-Themed Shoulder Bag' collection under its global lifestyle brand Letra. Crafted from lightweight palma fiber, these bags combine artisanal craftsmanship with whimsical design.
Functionality takes a backseat to delight.
Introducing compact and charming shoulder bags that look like real fruits brought to life. Each piece is meticulously handwoven by skilled artisans using authentic palma material, offering a naturally textured finish that enhances the kitschy, joyful aesthetic.
The collection features a vibrant lineup including strawberry, pineapple, orange, and watermelon—each design guaranteed to bring a smile.
Playful Silhouettes for Light-Hearted Styling
Perfect for days when you carry just your smartphone, lipstick, and a small wallet. Though not particularly practical in size, these bags are packed with 'sparkle'—the kind of joy that lifts your spirit the moment you hold them.
Every detail is thoughtfully designed to serve as the perfect playful contrast in sophisticated adult outfits.
Instant Happiness, Just by Carrying
We recommend pairing these bags with Letra's hammock-style crossbody bags for a coordinated look.
Matching accessories or styling with a simple T-shirt and denim instantly creates a cheerful, summery outfit. These are the kinds of accessories made to be enjoyed specifically in summer.
With designs that appeal to both adults and children, they're ideal for sharing between parent and child or as delightful gifts.
Don't miss out—enjoy them this summer!

About Letra
Launched in 2014, Letra specializes in Mexican lifestyle goods, with the Mercado Bag as its flagship product.
Our buyers were captivated by Mexico’s vibrant culture and colorful streets in the late 2000s, visiting several times a year. There, they discovered the Mercado Bag—a lightweight, durable tote that showed great potential. We began importing and selling it in Japan.
Since 2014, we’ve steadily grown awareness of the Mercado Bag in Japan (Procurement comparison: 1,200 units in 2015 vs. 35,000 units in 2024).
Our mission is twofold: to let customers enjoy these bags, and to support producers by preserving traditional Mexican craftsmanship, contributing to vocational training in prisons, and ensuring stable livelihoods for artisans—our ongoing Social Good initiative.
For the 2026 Spring/Summer season, our theme is 'TIMELESS'.
We aim to continue creating products that remain beloved across generations, while building sustainable production systems.
