Forval Corporation has been commissioned by Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, to conduct the 'Fiscal 2026 ESG Management (Finance) Promotion Project.' As part of this initiative, the company will host a 'Special Seminar for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises' on Tuesday, June 23. Through this engagement, Forval will support management strategies that aim for the long-term sustainability and growth of Kawasaki-based SMEs.
Background and Purpose Kawasaki City has formulated the 'Kawasaki Carbon Zero Challenge 2050' strategy to achieve a decarbonized society. With large corporations increasingly demanding decarbonization throughout their supply chains, the adoption of ESG management by SMEs has become an urgent challenge. Through this project, Forval will analyze the issues faced by local companies and contribute to improving corporate value by promoting the utilization of ESG finance.
Project Scope Forval will implement the following measures to promote decarbonized management among local SMEs: - Promotion of ESG management adoption based on surveys of current business practices. - Facilitating the practice of ESG management through hands-on consulting. - Supporting the utilization of the decarbonization management support consortium and providing information related to sustainability disclosure.
