Through this contract, we will support the promotion of DX for SMEs in Suzaka City. As part of this project, we will also hold an "AI Experiential Seminar for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" on August 6, 2026 (Thu).

Background and Objectives of the Project Award

With the advancement of digitalization, customer needs and market environments are changing, making DX initiatives for operational efficiency and productivity improvement a critical management issue for SMEs. Under the "Suzaka Mirai Challenge 2030" initiative, Suzaka City requires a system that creates opportunities for management improvement utilizing digital technology and supports their implementation to foster the sustainable growth of local businesses.

This project will support companies in understanding their own challenges and proceeding with the implementation and establishment of improvement measures through "DX Diagnosis for Businesses" to visualize issues, seminars to promote understanding and awareness of DX, and individual support from experts. We will also promote the spread and awareness of DX by disseminating excellent case studies within the city.

Details of the Contracted Services

The support will target SMEs and small businesses within Suzaka City. The main initiatives are as follows:

- Grasping the current situation and visualizing issues through "DX Diagnosis for Businesses"

- Holding the "AI Experiential Seminar for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" to promote understanding and awareness of DX

- Approximately 5 months of support for about 6 companies eager to promote DX

- Information provision on matching with IT vendors and utilizing subsidies

- Holding a results presentation meeting, and creating a project report and articles on excellent case studies

Overview of the AI Experiential Seminar for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

As part of this project, we will hold an "AI Experiential Seminar for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises," the first step in promoting DX, targeting SMEs and small businesses in Suzaka City. The seminar will introduce how to visualize management through digital utilization and approaches to AI utilization that can be implemented starting today. Through success stories from companies that participated in the previous year, it will provide concrete hints for local businesses to connect DX with their own management improvement.
