[Obihiro Event] "Heatwave Financial Planner" Born! Money Seminar to Organize Mind, Body, and Life at an Onsen

FP Cross Initiative Inc. (Obihiro, Hokkaido, Representative Director CEO Moe Machida), a Hokkaido-based business planning company specializing in financial planners (FPs), will co-host the "Organize Your Mind, Body, and Life! Easy & Simple Money Management Seminar" with Himawari Onsen, a natural moor hot spring in Obihiro, Hokkaido. On the eve of this money seminar, the lecturer will perform a "heatwave" in Himawari Onsen's sauna as a "Neppashi FP" (Heatwave Financial Planner).

Background of the Event In these times of continuous price increases, financial anxiety is a concern for everyone. In Hokkaido, in particular, the soaring crude oil prices have led to rising kerosene and gasoline costs in winter, significantly impacting household budgets. On the other hand, FPs are not yet a familiar presence in the region, and neutral FPs who do not sell financial products are still rare. However, the wisdom of neutral FPs is precisely the information needed in such regions. Participating in a "money seminar" held in a conference room can feel somewhat daunting and not easily approachable. Therefore, by utilizing the time before the locally beloved "Himawari Onsen" opens, a money seminar will be held by a neutral FP who is a J-FLEC certified advisor. This creates an opportunity for easy participation in a familiar setting. By distributing onsen tickets to participants, a money seminar that benefits all three parties—the lecturer, participants, and the facility—has been realized.

Event Overview This project will hold monthly money seminars for beginners at Himawari Onsen from May to July 2026. Additionally, a "heatwave event" by the FP lecturer is planned for the day before each seminar date.

Neutral Money Seminar by FPs Who Do Not Sell Financial Products This is a rare neutral money seminar in the Tokachi region where financial products are not sold. The lecturer is an FP who is a J-FLEC certified advisor. There is no solicitation for insurance products, so participants can attend the seminar with peace of mind. A "J-FLEC Certified Advisor" is a financial and economic advisor certified by the Financial Economic Education Promotion Organization (commonly known as 'J-FLEC'), an authorized corporation under the jurisdiction of the Financial Services Agency. Only neutral practitioners who are not affiliated with financial institutions and do not sell financial products are certified.

Cross-Industry Collaboration: Onsen × FP Through the co-creation of a local onsen facility and an FP, a win-win project for all stakeholders has been realized.
