Fujikyu Adatara Kanko Co., Ltd. (Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture), part of the Fujikyu Group, will renew its rest area at the summit station of the Adatara Mountain Ropeway and open the "[A]" Reading Room on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

In the 2024 green season, Adatara Kogen Resort has been expanding enjoyment at the summit by creating experiences that evoke nature and playfulness, such as spatial design inspired by the "A" of "Adatarayama." The "[A]" object installed in the summit observation plaza has also been enjoyed by many visitors as part of these efforts.

The newly opened "[A]" Reading Room is a space that proposes a "quiet way to spend time," unique to this place with its literary connections. Mount Adatara is known as the stage for the "true sky" that appears in Kotaro Takamura's poetry collection "Chieko Sho," and Chieko's longing for that sky still lives on. Surrounded by majestic nature and mountain ranges that change their appearance with the seasons, you can enjoy a relaxing time with a book in hand at the summit.

Please enjoy a healthy moment away from everyday life, along with a digital detox.
