Shimoda Aquarium has launched a new snorkeling program called 'Large Tank Fish Watching' in the large tank of the Aquadome Perry ship as of June 1. The tank houses 10,000 creatures of 50 species, including those from the Izu coast. Participants can observe the ecosystem while wearing a snorkel and mask. The program offers an immersive experience at a depth of 6 meters, and participants can even feed the fish. Diving staff will accompany participants, making it safe for beginners. The fee is 7,000 yen (6,000 yen in June), and it is open to elementary school students and older.
