Fujiya launched its new business format, "Peko-chan milky time," where customers can enjoy drinks and a variety of sweets inspired by the long-selling candy "milky." The first store opened in January 2026 at Urawa Misono Station in Saitama, followed by a second in Kashiwa, Chiba in March. This cafe-style store leverages the "milky" brand, offering a wide range of products including drinks, donuts, pies, muffins, cakes, and soft-serve ice cream, all featuring the gentle milk flavor of "milky." It aims to provide people of all ages with a new way to enjoy the brand and the fun of choosing from many options, offering a soothing moment as if enveloped by "milky."

The Highly Anticipated Third Store is the First in Tohoku, Located in Fukushima with Great Access

The third "Peko-chan milky time" store will open in Fukushima Prefecture, its first in the Tohoku region. It will be located in the "Fukushima Station West Exit Power City Pivot," which is currently undergoing renewal and is directly connected to JR Fukushima Station. The exterior wall will feature a design of Peko-chan and Poko-chan dressed as Akabeko, a local folk toy, along with their cheerful friends, expressing a Fukushima-like character.

The store's prime location on the first floor of the station building makes it accessible for a wide range of generations and various occasions, from daily shopping to special moments. It can be used for dropping by during commutes, as a meeting spot for travelers and tourists, or as a place to wait, adjust schedules, or take a break. The store aims to become a beloved new healing spot at Fukushima Station.
