Kyushu-Okinawa Banking Alliance Semiconductor Solutions (Q-BASS): Participation in Syndicated Loan for Shinko Electric Industries Co., Ltd.

Fukuoka Bank (President: Hisashi Goto) announced its participation in a syndicated loan for Shinko Electric Industries Co., Ltd. (President: Susumu Kurashima). The loan, coordinated by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, involves arrangements with Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, The Hachijuni Bank, and Aozora Bank, along with member banks of the Kyushu-Okinawa Banking Alliance (Q-BASS).

This initiative is part of the Q-BASS Finance Project (led by Nishi-Nippon City Bank, with Fukuoka Bank as vice-leader) and represents the first syndicated loan in which Q-BASS has participated in cooperation with major financial institutions.

Fukuoka Bank remains committed to working with other Q-BASS member banks to provide comprehensive support, extending beyond finance, to semiconductor-related companies and contributing to the sustainable growth of the semiconductor industry.

About Q-BASS: Q-BASS is an agreement among 13 regional banks in Kyushu, Okinawa, and Yamaguchi to cooperate toward the realization of a 'New Silicon Island Kyushu'. It supports regional economic growth by promoting the concentration of the semiconductor industry and strengthening other sectors.
