Fukuoka University will hold a joint information session-style job event, "Job Fes," on Saturday, April 11, for all faculties and departments, aimed at industry and company research for internships. Based on student needs and social conditions, the event will be held one month earlier than usual to create opportunities for students to explore a wide range of options from an earlier stage. <Date, Time, and Venue> ・Saturday, April 11, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Morning Session: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Afternoon Session: 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM) ・Held in Building A on the university campus. Click here for the campus map. <Event Format> ・In-person format ・A total of 58 companies are scheduled to participate in the morning and afternoon sessions. <Key Points> ・Starting with graduates of 2025, the importance of internships will increase as companies will be allowed to use student information obtained during internships in their recruitment activities, based on government policy. ・Held as a practical step following the "Job Guidance" session where students learn about the current job market and mindset. ・Creates opportunities to learn about a wide variety of companies at an early stage, encouraging proactive industry/company research and self-analysis. ・Companies from a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, information and communications, retail, and finance, will participate. ・Approximately 600 students from all years and faculties are expected to participate. *Number of advance reservations last year: 632 for both morning and afternoon sessions combined.
