Middle School Test Prep: 'Hitotsu Hitotsu Wakariyasuku' Series Releases New Q&A Books for 7th and 8th Graders, Surpassing 10 Million Copies

Gakken Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Gakken Holdings Co., Ltd., launched two new titles, '5-Subject Q&A Hitotsu Hitotsu Wakariyasuku' (for 7th and 8th graders), on May 14, 2026.

The 'Hitotsu Hitotsu Wakariyasuku' series, known for its exceptional clarity, has been widely supported since its launch in 2009, with total circulation exceeding 10 million copies.

Responding to students' needs for convenient pre-test preparation, this new release features a Q&A format covering social studies, science, mathematics, English, and Japanese. The books are packed with test-taking tips and mnemonic techniques to help students boost their scores efficiently.

Each section includes references to the corresponding pages in the 'Junior High Hitotsu Hitotsu Wakariyasuku' series, enabling integrated study for better understanding. The books also feature carefully selected problems, including charts, graphs, and descriptive questions, to build practical skills. They are designed in a portable size and include a bookmark for study aids.

Three books for high school entrance exam preparation (covering '5 Subjects', 'Science', and 'Social Studies') are also available, supporting continued learning through middle school.
