Fukushima Galilei Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka; President: Go Fukushima) has donated 13 industrial refrigerators to children's cafeterias and food banks in 11 domestic locations and 2 Southeast Asian sites during the second half of FY2025 (October 2025 – March 2026). This initiative is part of the 'Galilei 1% Club,' a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program where approximately 1% of pre-tax profit is allocated to social contributions. For the full fiscal year of 2025, the company donated a total of 35 units to 30 locations.
Since its inception in 2021, the Galilei 1% Club has reached a cumulative milestone of 333 units donated to 268 organizations. In addition to equipment, employees actively participate in volunteer activities to support regional welfare.
### Key Activities - **Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture:** A multi-purpose cold storage unit was donated to the Maibara City Council of Social Welfare. This unit facilitates the storage of bulk rice and vegetables donated by the community. Employees also volunteered at the 'Local Co-existence Society Festa' in November. - **Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture:** An upright freezer-refrigerator was provided to the NPO 'Mori no Yochien' to increase storage capacity for their children's cafeteria. Employees assisted in cooking takoyaki during an event in March.
### H2 FY2025 Donation Summary (13 Locations) The donations spanned various prefectures in Japan including Tokyo, Saitama, Osaka, and Hyogo. Internationally, units were delivered to AME HOUSE (an autism care facility in Vietnam) and the Duang Prateep Foundation in Thailand.
