### ■Development Rationale For over 60 years since its founding, our company has consistently pursued the potential of metal roofing and dedicated itself to developing original products based on new ideas. In recent years, due to the impact of abnormal weather conditions, the load on roofs from heavy rains, typhoons, heavy snow, and extreme summer heat has been increasing annually, necessitating higher performance. Furthermore, from an environmental perspective, the installation of solar panels and the long-term durability of roofs are also in demand. Based on this background, our company has developed the 'Functional Roof Gantan Roof 83' with an unprecedented new concept.

### ■Features of the 'Functional Roof' Traditionally, the seams (haze) of horizontally laid metal roofs were generally sealed tightly to prevent water ingress and the accumulation of dirt and debris. However, over time, the accumulation of dirt in these seams can become a cause of rust and water leakage. Therefore, 'Gantan Roof 83' deliberately creates space in the seams (named 'Spiral Seam') to discharge dirt using the splash of rainwater. Additionally, by hooking fittings into these seam spaces, equipment such as snow stoppers and solar panels can be installed without drilling holes or damaging the roof.

Furthermore, Gantan Roof 83 features a variable-width system that can be adjusted to match the size of existing horizontally laid roofs, making it widely compatible with large buildings, residential roofs, and suitable for cover roofing, new construction, and high-insulation specifications.

Despite being a highly engineered product, its features can be difficult for the general public to understand intuitively. Therefore, we have produced a TV commercial to provide a clear, intuitive understanding of its functions. To help many people grasp its features, our official character, the protective demon 'Mayokke,' appears and explains them through song.
