Digital Garage, Inc. announced the launch of 'Musubell Smart Identity Verification,' a new service added to its 'Musubell' series, a next-generation real estate transaction DX engagement platform that allows for centralized online management of electronic document creation, management, and status. This service was developed to comply with the revised Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds, scheduled to take effect in April 2027. Through collaboration with 'D-Confia,' an identity verification service provided by Double Standard, Inc., the platform enables consistent operational efficiency, including eKYC, anti-social force checks, and automatic creation of identity verification records. Real estate agents are classified as 'specified business operators' under the Act and are required to verify the identity of transaction counterparties. With the upcoming legal requirement for identity verification using IC chips in My Number cards, Digital Garage aims to provide a system that allows real estate companies to perform verification tasks quickly and accurately. The service features JPKI-compliant methods, offering smartphone-based identity verification, anti-social force checks, automatic record generation, and data integration with other Musubell services in a one-stop manner. This is expected to improve operational efficiency without interrupting business negotiations and enhance internal governance.
