BRISBANE — May 19, 2026 — GE Aerospace (NYSE: GE) announced today that it has signed a 10-year maintenance and overhaul agreement with Japan Airlines (JAL) for avionics system support on its Boeing 787 fleet. The agreement was signed at GE Aerospace's facility in Brisbane, Australia.

Under the agreement, GE Aerospace's Brisbane maintenance facility will provide repair and inventory services for avionics systems on Boeing 787 aircraft operated by Japan Airlines and its subsidiaries. Program management and component support will be led by GE Aerospace in Singapore, further leveraging the company’s regional network and responsiveness to support JAL’s operations.

GE Aerospace is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the Common Core System and related avionics systems on the Boeing 787, which are covered under this agreement.

Japan Airlines is one of the world's leading international airlines and operates a fleet of 117 wide-body aircraft, including 53 Boeing 787s powered by GE Aerospace's GEnx-1B engines.
